Privacy guidelines

Generally, information about users of the Business Community and the Federal Union of the Franchise Industry (hereinafter referred to as BFW) website is particularly worthy of protection and is used confidentially and only in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.

Personal data

Personal data is information about the identity of a person and the company, such as company name, surname, first name, function, address, e-mail address and telephone/mobile phone number. Such data is requested when registering for the German Entrepreneur Benchmarkday.

Collection, processing and use of personal data

If name, telephone numbers, e-mail address or other personal data are collected, processed and used for special campaigns, you will be informed of this at the appropriate point. If personal data are collected, processed and used on the pages of the Business Community / BFW, the data protection regulations are observed. In particular, the data will be treated confidentially. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties, unless there is an explicit agreement or there is an obligation to surrender this data, for example due to a court order or official directive.

Special services

If you use services that require the entry of personal data, only the data that is required to provide you with these services will be collected, processed and used.

Data security

The Business Community / BFW is committed to the security and protection of your data. Appropriate technical and organizational procedures have been put in place to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to ensure the accuracy of the data and to ensure the authorized use of the data. Nevertheless, the Business Community / BFW cannot assume any responsibility or liability for the disclosure of your data due to errors in data transmission and/or unauthorized access by third parties.

SSL Encryption

The pages of the Business Community / BFW use SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the requests you send to the Business Community / BFW as site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser address line changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you send to the Business Community / BFW cannot be read by third parties.

Cookies

The pages of the Business Community / BFW sometimes use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to store your registration data and to make the offer more user-friendly, effective and safe. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies used by the Business Community / BFW are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable the Business Community / BFW to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

You have the right to receive information free of charge at any time about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to correct, block or delete this data. Contradiction advertising mails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation to send advertising and information material not expressly requested. The operators of the pages of the Business Community / BFW expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

Change of the privacy guidelines

We reserve the right to change this privacy guidelines at any time in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.

Ticket Shop

Within the Business Community / BFW event offer, functions and contents of the service pretix, offered by rami.io Softwareentwicklung, Raphael Michel, Römerstraße 245, 69126 Heidelberg, Germany, are integrated. This includes the ticket shop, which is integrated via a JavaScript widget. When you buy a ticket, pretix uses a technically necessary cookie to enable the ordering process and to remember which shopping cart belongs to you. The cookie is set as soon as you interact with the widget. pretix does not store IP addresses, browser information or other unnecessary metadata beyond the duration of your request. Newsletter

Registration for the German Entrepreneur Benchmarkday is linked to the automatic sending of the regular newsletter to the e-mail address provided. It is possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, for example via a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you are welcome to send your unsubscription request at any time by email to info@benchmarkday.de.

The Business Community / BFW uses the list provider MailChimp to send the newsletter. MailChimp is a service of The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 512 Means Street, Suite 404, Atlanta, GA 30318 (in the following Mailchimp). Mailchimp is certified under the EU/-US Privacy Shield.

The email addresses provided during registration are transmitted to Mailchimp and stored by Mailchimp. Furthermore, Mailchimp offers various analysis possibilities about how the sent newsletters are opened and used, e.g. how many users have sent an email, whether emails have been rejected and whether users have unsubscribed from the list after receiving an email. These analyses are only group-related and are not used by the Business Community / BFW for individual evaluation. Mailchimp also uses the analysis tool Google Analytics, but does not include it in the newsletter of the Business Community / BFW. Web analysis

This website uses Matomo, an open source web analysis tool, to collect and store data for optimization purposes. The information is stored on the provider's server in Germany. The IP address is anonymized immediately after processing and before it is saved. The information about the use of this website is not passed on to third parties. Tracking cookies are not used for web analysis. The data is not used for purposes other than optimisation. Visitors are not tracked across multiple websites. A user cannot be tracked over several days within the same website.
